Andrea joined the foundation as an eighth grader back in 2014. She was busy going to school during the day and helping her mom cook and bake for thier small business. The family was hard working, but sending kids to high school was a challenge. Andrea was driven and self determined, and as she walked off the podium 8 years later with her engineering diploma, noone was too surprised.
We are thrilled to have supported Andrea in her academic journey over the last decade. The Fund's goal is to help mold self sufficient service driven Hondurans that can be examples in thier rural communities. Today Andrea works for the National Honduran Electric Company and was recently promoted. We applaud her success and are grateful for the example that she provides for young people in Honduras.
